Packing for Africa!

Is it really that time already?! It seems like it was just yesterday that Ken and Gin were coming home from Africa and starting deputation. It's already been 2 years! Their deputation is finished and they've been in Kansas City for the last couple of weeks getting things ready to move to Africa. Their full time missionary status is now beginning and the first term will be for 4 years! I'm excited yet sad at the same time. I'm very excited for the journey they are on and to see what God has in store for Burkina Faso...but sad because this is my family and I won't get to see them for forever! I am planning to go see them at some point-just not sure when just yet.
They leave for Africa tomorrow, please keep them in your prayers!!

The week before they left for Kansas City, I was honored to help them (as much as possible) getting some things ready to pack in their container. The day the container arrived, TLC had a team of guys ready to pack everything. Here are some pictures of that day!

At the church early, all packed and ready to go!

The container has arrived!

Starting to pack!

Gettin' closer!

Trying to figure out the last of it!
The last piece of furniture!!

All done!

And...the doors are closed! Almost everything fit!
