Noelle's First Jean Skirt!

There are not enough words to describe how adorable little Noelle Reece is. Noelle was sporting her first jean skirt and hoodie tonight at church!! Of course, I'm a little partial because her "favorite" auntie bought this for her...hmmmm wonder who that could be? LOL
Here she is, in all of her glory! :)

I love those little cheeks!! Makes you want to pinch them!!

Noelle and her Mommy, Crystal

I absolutely ADORE this picture!!! She is sooo precious and she LOVES to cuddle!!!

Almost asleep!

Time to head home! Good Night!

Photographing with my Dad!!

Last night, my Dad and I went out and photographed Kansas City! We went to the West Bottoms area and it was such a blast!! Mom came a long for the ride too! The West Bottoms area of Kansas City is the industrial part of town. There are a lot of really OLD buildings in this area, some of which have been vacant for years, but I LOVED taking pictures of it and capturing even that of Kansas City! I LOVE old vintage-y type stuff and this is the exact place to capture that! Kansas City has so much to offer...old and new. Here is a collage I put together of what I took...
I put a video together to show you all of the West Bottoms area, but it was taking forever, so I will have to upload it tomorrow. After we left the West Bottoms, we went Downtown Kansas City and just happened to see this over-pass. I LOVE Downtown city views!!

We then made our way to Case Park, which is also in Downtown KC. This just happens to look out over West Bottoms! I love this look out point! Our last stop for the evening was at Kaw Point! This is a view of Downtown Kansas City overlooking the Missouri River! This actually is where the Missouri and Kansas rivers meet. But I LOVE this new-found view!!
Hope you have enjoyed looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them! I had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back out again and see what else I can find! :) Hope you all have a wonderful evening!

Fall is finally here...

Fall is officially here and I am loving every minute of it! I LOVE fall!!! I am definitely a 4-season kind of a girl, but I definitely think that fall is my favorite! I LOVE all the beautiful weather we have been having! The leaves falling, the crisp cool breeze, birds chirping, leaves changing and falling, pumpkin and fall scented candles burning, baking, and everything else that goes along with it! :) I love it all! Before you know it, it will be Christmas time...Yikes! Even though I love Christmas time too, I'm not quite ready for that yet. lol I can't believe September is almost over.

This time of year is exciting...General Conference is next week and that is always a highlight in my year! So excited to go! The services will be amazing and I get to be with a lot of my awesome friends! It's always exciting to get to see friends you haven't seen in a while.

That's it for now, dinner is calling my name...Hope everyone has a good evening! God bless you all!

"You've Got a Friend"

This post goes out to all my friends!

I've been listening to this song a lot lately. I am so thankful for all of my friends and that is something that I never have and never will take lightly. You've been there in times when no one else has. I could never thank God enough for blessing me with such wonderful friends! He has blessed me more than I deserve. We have so many memories, we've laughed till our stomach hurt, laughed till we've cried, we've shared sad times, heart to heart talks, you name it, I'm sure we've been there. So just a shout out to all my amazing friends. Thank you for being YOU. I couldn't ask for any better. Please know that this comes from my heart. Love you all!!

Missing Minnesota...

Well, I'm back home from Minnesota now. I didn't get a chance to blog any other time while I was there. We had so much fun, just being together, and I miss the Sanders so bad! They are my second family! I definitely miss being in Minnesota. We were in the car Friday night driving around Downtown Minneapolis so I could take some pictures, and Owen kept saying, "Krista, I am SO glad that you had us do this, I am having SO MUCH FUN!!" lol Then he said, "MOM, Krista is like our FAMILY!!" It definitely melted my heart!!! Little Declynn is such a little trip! He is so adorable!!! He definitely melted my heart too! Friday night, Trish was trying to get him to go to sleep, then he would raise up and grunt and point at me...then he took a few steps towards me and snuggled right up to me for several minutes. It was so sweet! I had a lot of fun and I definitely wish I was still there. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
Every time you would ask Declynn if he wanted a bite, he would open his mouth wide open and stick his tongue out! LOL

Owen showing me his Dad's pictures...

Giddy up Horsey!

There was a beautiful sunset when we left the restaurant Friday night! We had the BEST steak from Texas Roadhouse! Yummy!

Sweet and Silly Boys!!

Then we went and I got to see their church! It is a beautiful building!! It is so exciting to hear all the great reports! God is definitely doing a great work!

While Owen was playing the drums and singing me his new song that he wrote...

Declynn decided that he wanted to walk with Grandma!! He is so cute when he tries to take steps!

Then outside it is to play some ball with O.T.

Then Tim, Trish, Momma Smalley, O.T., and Declyn and I went downtown so that I could take some pictures of downtown Minneapolis! :)
This is the bridge that collapsed Downtown Minneapolis several years ago...

This is the Stone Arch Bridge

Some more shots of Downtown Minneapolis!

Saturday Morning, I met some of my other awesome friends for breakfast at Perkins! Hey, I only got lost one time! Thank God for google directions! :) I had a great time being with Raemi and Janelle, I only wish I had more time with them. But, they are great friends! Love yall!

Later Saturday afternoon, Trish, Momma Smalley and I went running around, then later we all went to Stillwater, Minnesota to this awesome older area. We ate at the Freight House!

After lunch, we went walking around a little bit...loved this area! It was so beautiful!! I couldn't believe they had gondolas! It was so cool!

This is Tim, Trish, Owen, and Declynn

Me and Momma Smalley!

Me and Trish!!

On the way back to the house we stopped at a little place outside of Stillwater, MN where we got some really good ice cream! On the way home, Momma Smalley was trying to feed Declynn...and he kept opening his mouth really wide again and we were so cracking up! Then he saw I had my camera out, and he started hamming it up for the camera! He would look over at his Grandma--then he would cut his eyes over at me and give me a HUGE smile! lol He is so adorable!

Before I left, I just had to have another picture with both of my boys!!

And to end it all...there was a beautiful sunset on the way home.

Now, can I please go back??!! And stay a little longer??!!? :)
