Have you ever fallen in love...with a restaurant? I have. Magpies has to be my most favorite restaurant ever! There is just something about Old St. Charles that I LOVE! The old buildings, the brick streets, the ambiance of everything...it just makes me happy. The restaurant is actually in a home, in fact the largest home of the old historic district, and it was built in the 1800's.
Magpies offers inside seating along with outdoor seating in their large courtyard.
Ashlyn and I met some good friends of mine, Jennifer and Jonathon, and it was so good to catch up with them.
I love getting their soup and spinach salad combo...they are famous for their Baked Potato Soup!!
