Always Dream Big!

And the fun begins! I went to St. Louis yesterday afternoon to pick up my niece Ashlyn! It has become an annual thing that she comes to Kansas City for a week or two every summer! We love it! Anyway, on our way back home last night, we were talking about all her hopes and dreams! Seriously, where did the time go? She's so "grown up" these days! I LOVED hearing all about what she wanted to do in life, what she wanted to be when she 'grows up', what she wanted to go to college for, things she knows she doesn't want to do, places she wants to see (Yep, she takes after her Aunt Krista...she has the travel bug! LOL), and most importantly hearing her talk about her passion for God. I LOVE it that she has so mny dreams! One piece of advice that I gave her...I told her to ALWAYS remember this...was to "ALWAYS Dream Big! Then go after those dreams!" You'll get far in life if you go after those dreams! You may not always know what you want to do in life, but if you dream, you'll get somewhere! So I challenge us all to start dreaming...and if you've not followed any of the dreams you do have...start! :) *Sigh* Being an Aunt is the best thing EVER! All my kiddos make me so proud!! I love watching God unfold their lives! We have lots planned over the next couple of weeks...so stay tuned for all our adventures! :)
