Jello Cake

Want a light weight dessert for the middle of summer?


Take 1 box of yellow of white cake mix (regular or sugar free) and mix as directed on the back of the box. Bake at 350 for around 30 minutes (or as directed).

Once the cake is done, let it cool for a few minutes, then take a fork and carefully press holes all over the cake.

While the cake is still cooling, you will want to prepare your jello. Take 1 cup of boiling water then dump the jello packet in, stir until dissolved, then pour 1 cup cold water in, and continue to stir.

Once completed, gently pour the jello water mix over the cake until completely covered. Please Note: You will NOT use the whole jello mix.

Cover the cake with cool whip as desired.
