A Midnight Dazzle!

I hope everyone had a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! As I reflect on the year of 2010...it was just such an odd year for me. It definitely had its 'ups' but it also seemed like it definitely had its share of 'downs'. I was so ready to get rid of 2010. There is just something about the start of a new year. That sense of a new and fresh start. Not only that but you can get refreshed in life and make new goals. Something our Pastor has said several times over the last several weeks..."Lets close the doors of 2010. If there is something you want to close the doors on...you first must Admit it. Then close it. Then forget about it. Those probably aren't the exact words that he used, but its close. SOO thankful for a new year. New goals. And I am SOO excited about Twenty-Eleven!! I'm expecting GREAT things to happen this year! Not sure what this year may have in store just yet, but I have a feeling that EXCITING things are going to happen this year. I'm claiming it at least! :) So...*cheers*...to a new year!!! May this year be the year of BLESSINGS!!!

Some friends and I were supposed to go to Dallas for New Years but we couldn't go at the last minute for several reasons...so instead I threw a party at my house. I knew it was last minute and everyone would have plans but decided to throw a party anyway...even if only a couple of people came. So we did just that. :) Ends up there were only a couple of friends that came over but thats okay...we had a BLAST! It was so much fun! So glad it worked out the way it did!

I adore this sign! I saw this done somewhere so just HAD to do my own to match the colors!
