Happy Birthday, Bradyn!!!

Happy Birthday to big boy Bradyn!! He turned 1 year old today!!! (And yes I stole this picture hehehe). I can not believe that it has been a year already since baby Bradyn was born. I got to see him just 3 weeks after he was born. I hope I can see them again soon. Jen, thank you for keeping your blog up and sharing stuff about Bradyn. It helps all of us that are so far away! I love you all and glad you were able to celebrate Bradyn's birthday today (and this weekend). Wish I could be there with yall!

Happy Birthday, Granddaddy!!!

Happy Birthday to my sweet Granddaddy!!!!! I love him so much and wish I could be down in Louisiana today to help him celebrate!!! He turned 85 today! I can hear him now walking around the house saying, "I loovvveeee allll myyy babies!!!" hehehehe He is so adorable and I can't wait to see him again. I love you Granddaddy!

A couple of weeks ago my parents went down to Louisiana and celebrated with all the family...I had to work and couldn't go, but here are a couple of pictures!

Happy Birthday, Ashlyn!!

Happy Birthday to my little Chef!!!! My niece Ashlyn turned 14 today!!! I can not believe she is 14 already. The time has flown by so fast! I love my little girl so much!! My punkin is so beautiful and I am so proud of her! She has/is grown up to be a beautiful & godly young lady! I can't wait to see what else God has in store for her! I love you Ashlyn!!!!

We had so much fun at lunch today, after church! First of all...for yall that were there, does anyone need a backscratcher?! LOL And don't for get the MAYonaise and the MusTURD for the next cookout! LOL Oh my word...I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!

Anyways, on to what this post is supposed to be about! LOL
Caedyn was having a great time eating his ice cream today! It was so cute! He makes the cutest expressions! He had chocolate everywhere...but it was still good anyway! LOL His little eyes just melts my heart! His Auntie Krista loves him so much!!!

Downtown Kansas City & Christopher Elbow's

Last weekend I went out with some friends to Downtown Kansas City. I LOVE going downtown! We first went to Jack Stack and got some amazing food in the Freight House District!


Then we drove around downtown a little bit and decided to go to Christopher Elbow Artisian Chocolates in the Crossroads District. It's a famous Chocolate place here. I only wish I liked chocolate! However they had some that wasn't as chocolatety that I might go back and try just to say I've had it! :) But here are a few pictures from Christopher Elbows. Tornado Touchdown...

Last night and this afternoon we had some pretty intense thunderstorms. They usually don't wake me up if its storming throughout the night, but last night it did. The thunder was so loud it made me toss and turn all night. Anyways, today it got really dark outside and later found out that 2 tornados touched down not too far from us. One was VERY close to the church...in fact some people that live by the church saw the tornado going up and down several times. But thank God everyone and everything is okay. I didn't want to end this day without Thanking Jesus for protecting us!!!

Just Checkin' In...

Hi Everyone!
I haven't really posted anything since we've been back from Chicago, so I thought I would check in with everyone. Things have been so busy that I haven't put aside much time to blog very much lately. I've had a great weekend...yet very productive. I had a lot of cleaning to do..and althought I didn't get as much done as I wanted to, I still got A LOT done and it feels so good!! :)

Today we had a visiting speaker, Bro Mulenpah (I'm not sure if thats how you spell his name), but he spoke on Creation. We had church again tonight and tomorrow night. He is an excellent speaker!

You know, TLC is just the best. I thank God for the priviledge of being apart of such an incredible church and pastor!

Anyways, I can hear a storm rolling in and thats always the best time to sleep, so I think I'm going to log off and go to bed. :)
