Atlanta West UPC on ABC!

Atlanta West UPC choir recently won the 2009 Best Choir in America award given by Verizon Wireless, "How Sweet the Sound" Competition! I guess they were recently on ABC's Good Morning America show! How cool is that?! Here is a video clip of them!

The Christmas Rush

Are you feeling the pressure yet?! lol Things have been a little busy and I, who absolutely LOVES Christmas time, STILL hasn't put up the Christmas tree! Yeah I know...I can't believe it either! But right now, I'm house/dog sitting and I'm looking at their beautiful Christmas tree-so I guess that will have to do for this year. Maybe next year we'll get all decked out! :) I hadn't even started Christmas shopping yet...but I did tonight...AND I finished! Talk about doing things last minute! LOL I trust things are going great for everyone! Take a moment to reflect on what this season is really about. Enjoy your family and friends and make lots of memories and new traditions! Merry Christmas everyone!

Sneak Peak...

This last Saturday I did a Christmas photo shoot with the Larmies. I had a blast and the kiddos were just too adorable! I haven't had time to get all of the pics uploaded-but thought I would give you a sneak peak to them. My 29th Birthday

December 16...

Wow! What a FABULOUS day!!! I had a WONDERFUL birthday this year!! I received so many phone calls, texts, emails, cards, and FB posts...I felt SO special on Wednesday! It all meant so much to me! But I do have to say that I had some special deliveries that completely MADE my day! Thank You, Babe, for making my day so special!!

It started out at 12:00 am on my birthday, my sweetie sang Happy Birthday to me over the phone! Once I got to work, we had a meeting right after lunch and when we got done, I went back to my desk to return a phone call to my Mom. While I was on the phone, I noticed my coworkers looking at something across the aisle-but didn't think anything of it. And David (our mail guy) kept motioning for me to hurry and get off the phone. So once I got off I was asking him what he wanted and they told me to come over there that they wanted to show me something. Again, clueless but curious. So I walk over there...and am SOO surprised!!!

Still...I can't believe my eyes! And everyone was looking at me then my face got red! lol The other two people are my coworkers, David (the mail guy) and Kathy (a good friend of mine). I love Kathy's expression! She was just as excited as I was! ha!

The first thing I saw were these GORGEOUS red roses!!!!!!!!

They smelled SOOO good!!!

Then I look down and saw the cupcake man cake with Shannon's face on it!!! There is
a long story behind this, but it was perfect! In the upper corner it said, "Happy 29th Birthday!" and in the lower corner it said, "I'm so glad to be your Cupcake Man!" hehehe. I'll tell you the story behind that in a minute.



Still just taking in everything..trying to get over my shock! ha!

So now, for those of you that don't know the Cupcake Man story. Here it goes...
When I went to Chicago this past summer for my graduation...Sarah, Paulette and I went to the Hershey's store. And THEY say that as soon as I walked in the "cupcake man" (as we call him) starts singing and doing his cupcake demonstration and that he wouldn't stop looking at me and how in-to me he was. I deny all that and beg to differ with them. LOL Sooooo...because of all that, it has become a H U G E joke between all of us. So if you see anything on FB regarding that, you'll know why. So, now that Shannon and I are dating, he says that he is my cupcake man! hehe And I am so glad he is! ;)

Sooo...thats the story behind getting the Cupcake Man cake for my birthday! LOL

Miss Claus

I know this is a couple days late, but I trust you had a wonderful birthday! The big "3-0"! I am SO glad that I got to be with you the weekend before your birthday!! I had a blast!! I am SO glad that I finally got to see you!! I am so thankful for you and your friendship. Your realness means the world to me. I love you!!

FAC Christmas Banquet

As my last night in Tennessee, we went to the FAC Christmas Banquet, and I am proud to say that Shannon and I went as an official couple! I had the best and most handsome date there! ;) December 7, 2009 will always be a special night to me. :)

It's Official!!!

While I was in Tennessee, an extra something special happened in my life! :) Shannon and I are officially dating!! I am beyond blessed to have Shannon in my life. He is wonderful!! God has definitely blessed me! We've been friends for 3 years. We first met at a singles function at General Conference '06 in Ohio! We have been close friends for 2 years and I never would have thought that we would be where we are now. He makes me so happy! He puts a smile on my face! God has blessed me more than I could have imagined!! I only wish we lived closer than 12 hours away...I miss him so much!

A Drive through Cades Cove

I always enjoy going up to the mountains in Tennessee! It is absolutely beautiful there! We also took some Christmas pictures of Jen, Brady, and Bradyn. We had so much fun and I'm so glad we got to go up there!

The night I got there, the snow decided it was going to tag along with me. lol We all thought we woke up to a Winter Wonderland the next morning! lol But it was so pretty!

Jen and I decided to go shopping in Knoxville a little bit on Saturday! This is Bradyn hanging out--he was SUCH a good little boy during our shopping adventure!! I so heart him!!



Jen drove us through a little part of Knoxville since I'd never actually been there.
And of course we had to see the famous World Fair Park!


Saturday night, we had some people over to Jen and Brady's for dinner. I cooked chili and then we played Uno and just had a blast hanging out! I failed to get pictures of all that...shame on me! But Bradyn loved playing with Auntie K's phone! lol


Sunday afternoon we went to lunch at a Japanese restaurant. Bradyn loved the sauce they had! lol
